The 10-year Treasury yield hit its highest level since before President Donald Trump's inauguration in January 2025 on Tuesday amid stubbornly high oil prices and shifting global financial currents.

The gold price, tracked by the SPDR Gold Shares ETF (GLD), hit its lowest level since March 30, while the S&P 500 is losing ground for a third straight session.
